Chicago indie-rock quintet The Back Alley is a modern patchwork of musicians whose carefree spirit and undeniable chemistry have fueled their wildly entertaining live shows since their inception in 2022. Having made a name for themselves in the Midwest indie-rock scene with their upbeat, guitar-driven rock, the band recently retreated to the quietness of Michigan to create their debut album, *Back at Home*, out January 22, 2027. What materialized was a new sound for The Back Alley –– one that softens the edges a bit, delivering a somewhat folky yet still upbeat vibe that remains so very in the pocket of The Back Alley. *Back at Home* tells a cohesive story of searching for something while overlooking what's right in front of you, ultimately offering a worthy reminder to treasure what you already have. With the momentum of the past year surging forward, these Chicago boys are about to find their music taking them much further than the city that raised them.
