Cloud Nothings are a rare band defined by consistency, spending nearly 15 years releasing great records without the long gaps or creative missteps that often accompany longevity. With a steady run of standout albums, they’ve become a core part of modern indie rock, and that streak continues with Final Summer—an album so confident and immediately rewarding it underscores the band’s place among the best American rock acts working today. Recorded with Jeff Zeigler, mixed by Sarah Tudzin, and mastered by Jack Callahan, the record captures the pure, unfiltered joy of loud guitars and driving drums, showcasing a band operating at full strength and fully committed to being the best version of itself.

Liquid Mike is an American power-pop band from Marquette, Michigan, led by singer-songwriter Mike Maple, whose background as a former U.S. Postal Service mail carrier informs his sharp, relatable lyrics about small-town life and personal crossroads. The band has built a cult following through word-of-mouth and online buzz, releasing six self-produced albums in five years, including the riff-heavy Paul Bunyan’s Slingshot (2024), which blends propulsive pop-rock with lo-fi DIY grit and influences from Superchunk and Guided by Voices. Rooted in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and its tight-knit music community, Liquid Mike’s songs mythologize the everyday—balancing humor, disillusionment, and regional character—most recently explored on their 2025 release Hell Is an Airport.
