Who says grown women can't start a rock band? Meet the Janeways. All grown. All women. All fun. The Janeways are an all-female 80s and 90s rock-n-roll cover band. During the pandemic in November of 2020, these women picked up their instruments for the first time. Despite the fact that they had never played their instruments before, they craved to be challenged, learn something new and have fun doing it! And they are!

Now playing regularly at local bars, restaurants, community festivals and music venues, these ladies bring the fun and energy wherever they go, paying homage to Tom Petty, Cheap Trick, Poison and Joan Jett along the way. While rocking on stage never gets old, the group also hopes to inspire others along the way. It's never too late to learn something new, challenge yourself and bring joy to others through music!
